Steve will take the stage to moderate a dynamic discussion with our MetaVerse experts. In this session, leaders who are already using the technology demystify what’s touted to be the next giant leap in tech experiences to uncover the commercial realities, ethics, data and surveillance questions, licensing extensions and the useful application and implications for business and advertisers. ​


Steve joined Zip in 2019 with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s marketing strategy and, since then, has lead major campaigns, global rebranding and integration projects and been a key figure in Zip’s journey from a local Australian company to a global BNPL player operating in five markets: Australia, New Zealand, the UK, USA and South Africa.


Before Zip, Steve spent three years at Uber as its APAC Director of Marketing and, before that, oversaw marketing, brand and PR at eBay. While at Uber, Steve launched the world’s first rideshare submarine Scuber and launched the award-winning ‘Tonight I’ll Be Eating’ UberEats campaign. He is the current Chair of the Australian Alliance for Data Leadership and the Association for Data-Driven Marketing & Advertising, where he is responsible for the strategic direction of the association and its 600-member organisations.
